1 Define your talent management goals

Before you can track your talent management success, it is important to define what success means for your organization. Your specific and measurable objectives for the talent management strategy should support your overall business vision and mission, as well as align with your values and culture. Common talent management goals include improving employee engagement and satisfaction, reducing turnover and retaining high performers, developing current and future leaders, enhancing skills and competencies, increasing productivity and innovation, and building a diverse and inclusive workforce. To measure progress and outcomes, you need to identify key performance indicators (KPIs). These are quantifiable metrics that reflect how well you are achieving your goals. For example, if the goal is to improve employee engagement, eNPS, employee satisfaction survey results, or employee recognition rates may be used as KPIs.

It is also important to develop your talent strategy both long and short term. Unless HR is aligned with long term business goals and objective i.e., the baseline it truly cannot be strategic in developing an aligned roadmap. If the business needs to grow people should grow at the same pace otherwise organizations will source talent externally rather than promoting internally.

There are numerous ways of profitably analysing data lying dormant in a company - with the opportunity to gain some illuminating insights. However, when it comes to personal data, one aspect is particularly important that may seem somewhat bureaucratic or administrative at first, and that is the issue of data protection and sensitivity when handling personal data, which is of course particularly important in HR in day-to-day business, but is especially essential when analysing the data collected there. é possível acompanhar se as práticas de gest?o de Talentos est?o no caminho certo através de alguns dados: turnover de talentos, sucess?o, aproveitamento interno, etc. Mais difícil do que acompanhar é identificar os talentos. Como potencial é uma proje??o, torna-se mais difícil identificar, as vezes só percebe-se que era um talento quando sai da empresa, ou promove achando que era talento e n?o dá certo na nova posi??o (nem sempre alto desempenho é potencial).
