Wordpress - I work on client websites using this platform and it is very flexible. The plug-ins can be a bit challenging, so research before you decide (e.g. Avada, Divi). Also, make sure you have SEO set up (e.g. Yoast, Rank Math) so you can set your site up properly to maximize visibility. WIX - This is fine for simple sites where you want to keep costs low. The menu and other features are very easy to use. You can even have a shop.
