Totally wrong. The PMIC is simulated and over simulated during the design phase. The testing and evaluation will verify the design, the simulation included.

Be aware about the inconsistencies of the specs and parameters that could confuse you during testing. Check that the specified test conditions make sense. Mostly when the PMIC function could be both software programable and/or some of them could be manual programmable with resistor dividers, on/off switches, etc. Check the repeatability of the tests on several boards.
