i think it to also be important to have more than one opportunity for your team to check in about thier interests. Perhaps one year ago somoene wa sintereste din data and analysis but now that they have done a few projects, they are now more interested in sales. Don't assume that just because someone is good at something, that it is what they are passionate about or interested in. I would far more prefer my team to be doing work that they are deeply interested in.
