How do you show your value in webinars?

One of the ways I have seen that works in getting traffic is to identify a challenge or a set of challenges that are important to your target audience and invite one of your clients to join the session as a co-presenter and walk the audience through the journey of how they addressed the challenges with help from you (your products/services). Your happy customer is your best sales person. This works beautifully especially in B2B scenarios.

Unlike meetings, the audience is actively contributing the discussion in webinar, getting them connected to your delivery is an art and technology. Along with content, research, audience demographic, effective webinar should be well tested technically and well equipped with good quality camera with teleprompter (if more of your face will be on screen) , mic, voice modulation, proper use of simulations, infographics and visuals wherever needed. Use mix if your webinar with facial eye contact with your camera, on screen pointing and slides, good pauses and avoid annoying repeated words and sounds.

From my perspective, effectively showcasing your expertise involves crafting a presentation that offers a glimpse into the experience of collaborating with you or feeling the benefits of your product or service. I place significant emphasis on the emotions I want to evoke in my audience. If I can provide a genuinely transformational experience, that very experience elevates the perceived value of the service I offer.

In many cases, you will be the only expert in the room. That gives you the tremendous opportunity to show off all the little bits and bobs you know about the topic. However, as with systems, true mastery is shown if you can explain a topic and provide a takeaway for the audience with minimal time required. Thus, if there is nothing anymore that can be cut from the presentation without diluting the message, then you have shown the perfect expertise. Consequently, when preparing the bullet points for a webcast, ask yourself, can I cut this, and will the audience still understand what I am telling? Then you reach your mastery.

Be concise. Less is more - and more memorable too. It's more challenging to say it all in 15 minutes or less. But your time-poor audience wants to snack not snooze.

Put in the effort to customize your message for each webinar you create. Do you know the issues the audience faces? What are two or three take aways you can give them ?

Definitely customize your webinar/presentation, and do some pertinent research ahead of time. Give examples that are relevant to the company, audience and industry. Share screenshots of stuff from their socials or in the news so you can weave that it and give great real time examples to bring home your points.
