D'apres mon expérience la première des choses est de definir le probleme que l'on veut clairement resoudre.De la définition de ce probleme on pourra dégager les variables essentielles notamment la ou les variable d'interet.La variable d'interet est celle que nous voulons connaitre les fluctuations ou les variations et les autres variables seront dites explicatives.Il convient avant de les utiliser de s'assurer qu'ils repondent aux critères d'integrité des données et cela passe par le nettoyage et la transformation de ces données.

D'apres mon expérience l'exploration des données consiste avant tous a definir les relations qui peuvent exister entre un ou plusieurs variables.Pour se faire on peut se servir des éléments visuels comme des variables statistiques.Par élément visuels nous pouvons par exemple se servir des nuages de points pour observer une correlation entre des variables ou tout simplement utiliser le coefficient de correlation pour parvenir a la meme conclusion.
