A partir da avalia??o periódica desses indicadores, aliados aos KAI (indicadores de atividades) de melhoria, é possível perceber se realmente o método de melhoria está sendo usado para melhorar o desempenho da empresa.

It’s important to give relevant KPI to people from different functional groups instead of telling them a generic KPI. If you tell the production team that the company KPI is hitting $100 Million in revenue, how do you think they will interpret? “It’s not my business, it’s sales job!” “Instead of producing 500 pieces per day, how can we increase that to 600 pieces?” It now make sense to the production team. “Can we reduce the current down time of our machine by another 5%?” This will make sense to the maintenance team. All these metrics build towards the final goal and it involves different moving parts moving together. Give someone something that’s relevant to them for measurement.
