The most 'inclusive' reward and benefit schemes can support, or disengage, in equal measure, for example, free childcare is great, but what if over 85% of the workforce are child-free, or have older children? Consider a broader R&B approach, focusing on providing access to discount schemes that address the diverse needs of your workforce. What about providing access to vouchers than can be spent on a range of options; from prescription eyewear for glass wearers, to car servicing for drivers, to superfast broadband for those with access issues, to gym membership and beauty sessions. Your employees aren't in the same stages of their lives, so your strategy shouldn't be rigid in its approach either.

Provide different mechanisms to reward people. Also, ensure that there are opportunities for team members to reward their peers too. Gratitude goes a long way!
