It might be helpful to host interest meetings (that also help recruit new members), where current members are also invited and besides describing what your project aims for, you can specify what your improvement efforts have focused on, and how these changes will help students earn an even short and long term experience working at/for your project!

The fifth step is to implement the revised project rubric in your next project cycle. You should provide your students with the rubric in advance, and go over it with them in detail.
