Yes, we probably want to build the next I-robot, I mean who hasn't dreamed of a time-traveling messenger from the future showing up at your door to tell you that your amazing design with wonderful features has played a major role(hopefully for the good of humanity) in the future. Trying to build the ultimate robot can be quite overwhelming but in my experience, it is better to start with a few features such as : I want this robot to move so I'm going with a quadruped (because why not). As simple as this is it could be the foundation of a truly wonderful project, it would lead to questions like: when should it move and when should it stop?
