Stock image used as-is CAN add deeper meaning or capture the gist of complex human interactions... Wait, what? Sorry, that’s a ?? unicorn, people. And while some stock photo collections are better than others, that’s not saying much. ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ If you do use stock images, transform them!! Creative editing, colorizing, distorting etc. create valuable, engaging subtext. It might just keep readers awake ?? til the end.
