In terms of Edtech tools, we must think of a plurality of complementary solutions: the versatile tool capable of doing everything well is fictional, or ultimately very limited, just as the Swiss army knife has never replaced the carpenter's or mechanic's toolbox. It is far better to focus on functionality rather than aesthetics. Do not spend too much time preparing very sophisticated screens, but focus on simplicity and pedagogical relevance. This increases both productivity and pedagogical efficiency.

I often hear it said that, in order for them to devote themselves more to pedagogical development, teachers must be freed from production constraints, which ICT cells must take care of, on the basis of detailed specifications. I don't really agree, because it seems to me very difficult for teachers designing new digital resources to specify a priori in a precise way what their products will ultimately look like. We must encourage them to move forward step by step, following their intuitions, and not sterilize them if they have trouble explaining what they perceive a little confusingly at first.
