The hotel industry has evolved to the point where there are two main players - ownsership and operator. Ownership is more concerned about the financial risks and results whereas operator is more focused on delivering the best guest experience and results to owner. The choice of whom will operate your property is probably the most important decision you can make to mitigate any financial risk. An owner should only manage their property if it is their core business, otherwise, it should be handed over to professionals and carefully monitored through great Asset Management.
