Cuando todo nos resulta demasiado fácil y comenzamos a movernos en modo automático inicia el estancamiento profesional, si estas en este punto es momento de identificar que oportunidades tienes dentro de tu organización, preparar una propuesta y presentarla a tu superior, ?ojo! ten cuidado de hacerlo desde aburrimiento o desde la queja. También puedes aprovechar este estado de “tranquilidad” para estudiar eso que venias aplazando o aprender una nueva habilidad que permitirá mejorar tu currículo.

From my experience, there are some indicators informing you that this is the time to change and moving towards the next step such as follows: 1. You have gained enough experience and expertise in your current role and it's the time to look for new challenges. 2. You might developed a strong network of contacts who can support you and providing you with the required guidance. 3. You have completed additional education or certification that can enhance your qualifications and credentials and make you eligible to move to the next level.

Como diz o ditado, mar calmo n?o faz bom marinheiro, no universo corporativo isso significar tomar riscos. Todavia n?o é tomar qualquer risco. é comum a confus?o de tomar risco a todo custo, n?o, todo risco deve ser calculado, seja na exposi??o quanto no alinhamento com as suas metas. Pois bem, mesmo com o melhor dos planejamentos algo deve sair errado, mas o mais importante é que quando isso acontecer, você esteja pronto mentalmente para superar e seguir com novos planos, de forma sempre a se manter no foco das suas metas e objetivos

For engineering, taking risks is not a way because it has consequences which could lead to somebody's death. Reducing the risk as much as we can is an engineering job. But once the failure happens which it definitely will. Be prepared and be ready for what is coming. There will be lots of stress which comes in many directly from 1 failure. As we are human, at one point we all will try to avoid it. But keep in mind that if we avoid this one, we can keep avoiding all the mess until the end of our time.

Na minha experiência indica que o grau de risco que estou disposto a assumir é sempre maior do que a empresa ou organiza??o está disposto a assumir. Assim, geralmente estou sempre mais preparado. E mesmo que haja imprevistos, sempre tenho planos alternativos que andam em paralelo para mitigar ou reduzir os eventos colaterais, n?o costumo ter grandes surpresas.
