1 Define the scope and objectives

You can use a charter or a scoping document to define the scope and objectives of the FMEA or RCA, and communicate them to the cross-functional team members. I work in a beverage manufacturing company that has not yet come to appreciate the importance of QMS in manufacturing. Normally when I try to bring everyone on board, they all seem to be not interested in understanding the core reason of doing RCA and how it can be of value in managing time, increasing productivity and quality. The major issue is all the cross functional teams will be playing a defense game even before pinpointing the actual root cause using brainstorming and elimination. How can I tackle this
