Ensure during the workshop that all actions identified have a completion deadline, owner making the follow up quicker and easier. From experience using Microsoft Planner to govern action item progress is effective and easy to use during meetings. Also running the weekly meeting like a Daily Management meeting ensure that the meeting takes minimal time with effective communication throughout. To keep engagement from the attendees focusing the meeting on the quick win actions to show progression happening and also share performance improvement metrics as part of the agenda shows the participants that the work they are doing is making a difference.

Keeping momentum going is important. If you're working with a group of people and you want to see what they have done in action or open up for ongoing communication consider the following. Many times AHA moments come after the time in session, and thoughts keep marinating for people. ? Use a dedicated Slack channel to be available afterwards for questions and any follow up activities. ? Use a learning management system with areas for chat, one I've seen used before is Disco (and of course there are things like Mighty Networks) ? Consider other tools like Discord, Twist, or other platforms with communication features to keep people curious and talking. When planning make sure to integrate these tools into your overall experience.
