Also, diversify your presence. Don’t stick to just one platform, explore where your clients are. Listen more than you speak. You’ll learn what your market truly needs.

Testimonials can be as fake as Monday smile on a rainy day ;) But they are much needed social proof. Way better than testimonial is a word of a happy client. If you can get a honest feedback of a client how you took them from point A (pain) to point B (pleasure) - you'll have more clients than you can imagine. My biz runs 80% only from WOM (Word Of Mouth) from happy clients.

I have been in Marketing for over 10 years, so referrals are part of how I find new clients. When I have a happy client after the project has been completed, I wait about a week before reaching out. I check in with my former clients to make sure they are still happy with results; see if they have any questions that can easily get resolved; ask for referrals + a Google review. I wait about a week to give them time to ensure they are green for go on their end. Most of the time, referrals are sent to me within 6 weeks of completing the project + a new Goggle review is added quickly after the project is done. Both elements allow me to grow my business and add a level of expertise to my skills via the Google reviews.

Someone on their circle will for sure.
