While collecting the data based on project requirements, the variability should be taken into consideration. This could include daily variability, seasonal variability etc. For example, travel patterns could vary quite a bit between a weekday, weekend and public holiday. To take the variability into account, collecting the data spread over time and analysing historical patterns could help.

It is imperative that solutions must also be country/ location specific but Ofcourse taking into consideration best practices in the industry.

Even in this age of abundant data, the key to good spatial analysis lies in choosing the right kind of data in the right format. As populations grow and land use expands, it's important to focus not just on numbers but also on the quality of the information we gather. In India, for example, planning a city isn't just about maps and data. In metro cities, the roads are so crowded and complex that even Google Maps sometimes struggles to find exact locations.
