How do you ensure that low-priority tasks are not neglected in the midst of high-priority sprint goals?
When you're knee-deep in an Agile sprint, it's easy to focus solely on the high-priority tasks. These are often the features or fixes that stakeholders are clamoring for, and they can monopolize your team's time and energy. However, Agile methodologies, like Scrum, emphasize the importance of delivering a potentially shippable product increment at the end of each sprint. This means that while high-priority tasks are crucial, you cannot afford to completely ignore the lower-priority ones. They might not be the most glamorous or urgent, but they often include technical debt, refactoring, or small enhancements that can significantly improve the overall quality and maintainability of the product.
