The scoring criteria and and weighting criteria must be collaboratively agreed upon prior to launching the RFx with the procurement team and all relevant stakeholders that will score the responses. Scoring should be completed by each stakeholder individually and sent to the procurement representative for consolidation. The supplier with the highest score should be the winner and move to contract and pricing negotiations. If two suppliers are very close in their score additional deep dives on agreed upon topics should be used to make the final decision.
