I have observed an example of a safety procedure at Zimbabwe's national electricity company. The procedure is called "Pre-Task Risk Assessment" and it involves a team of workers gathering together to discuss the work they plan to perform and where they plan to perform it. They then identify potential hazards and suggest ways to mitigate them, according to the company's Electricity Safety Rules book.
