Example: Using analytics tools for better user engagement insights. 5. Scale and Adapt: Be ready to modify goals based on results. ? Its a simple process but its actually hard to achieve. You need to really understand your product and users, its unbeliebable just how many companies dont even have a user journey mapped, without at least understading your product, the revenue levers and your users you simply wont be successful at defining a goal. A very simple way of starting is to map out every step of your funnel and gather the data os CR and drop-offs, this will give you a clear idea on the steps with bigger gaps and playing around with the data (eg calculate an x% increase on a step) will give you a detailed impact on your final results.

I usually recommend to focus on one step of the funnel (depending on what should have the most impact on revenue). Impact, Effort, uncertainty is a useful framework to prioritise experiments. I sometimes prioritise experiment with low effort and high uncertainty, if they can be used to learn and lower the uncertainty of other experiments.

Once all the above is done, I run the "Feedback Loops" which is really essential to track how far our experiments has contributed to the pain points for the customer, I do collect the feedbacks from those customers and refine the next set of experiments.
