1 What is a decision table?

A decision table is a tabular representation of the logical relationships between the inputs and outputs of a system or a function. It consists of four parts: conditions, actions, rules, and stubs. Conditions are the possible inputs or states of the system, such as username, password, or account status. Actions are the expected outputs or effects of the system, such as login success, login failure, or error message. 3 How to create a decision table?

Creating a decision table for login page testing requires you to identify the relevant conditions and actions, assign stubs to each, and arrange them in a table format. You must then determine the number of rules needed to cover all combinations of conditions and actions; if three conditions and three actions are present, eight rules are required (2^3 = 8). 4 How to use a decision table?
