In the last global company I worked for, it was only when the HR KPI was defined for the CEO that the HR and leadership processes were taken seriously by the Executive Leadership. The company was going through a culture change process and we had to review the CEO's goals process. As I worked in HR Strategy and was in a team with the head of Strategy, we included the HR Goals for the CEO council and from there they were rolled out to the entire N-1 level.
