How do you customize your pastel invoices to reflect your brand identity?

1 Layout designer

The layout designer is a built-in tool in Pastel Accounting that allows you to modify the appearance and layout of your invoices. You can access it from the File menu, and then select Layouts. You will see a list of different document types, such as invoices, quotes, statements, and orders. Choose the one you want to customize, and click on Edit. You will see a preview of the current layout, and a toolbar with various options to change the fonts, colours, borders, alignment, and size of the elements. You can also drag and drop the elements to rearrange them, or add new ones from the Insert menu. For example, you can insert text boxes, images, lines, shapes, or barcodes. To save your changes, click on File and then Save.

2 Logo manager

The logo manager is another tool in Pastel Accounting that helps you to add your logo to your invoices. You can access it from the Setup menu, and then select Company Parameters. In the Company Info tab, you will see a section called Logo. Click on Browse, and select the image file of your logo from your computer. You can adjust the size and position of the logo using the sliders, or enter the values manually. You can also choose whether to print the logo in colour or black and white. To apply the logo to your invoices, click on OK.

3 Report writer

The report writer is a powerful tool in Pastel Accounting that allows you to create custom reports and documents, including invoices. You can access it from the Tools menu, and then select Report Writer. You will see a window with two tabs: Report Manager and Report Designer. The Report Manager lets you create, edit, delete, and organize your reports. The Report Designer lets you design your reports using a graphical interface. To create a new invoice report, click on New in the Report Manager tab, and choose Invoice as the report type. You will see a blank report in the Report Designer tab, where you can add fields, labels, formulas, images, and other elements from the toolbar. You can also use the properties panel to change the formatting, alignment, and appearance of the elements. To preview your report, click on Preview in the toolbar. To save your report, click on Save in the Report Manager tab.

By using these three tools, you can customize your pastel invoices to reflect your brand identity and impress your clients.
