This give better control over how entities are categorize, acquire, and handle within the simulation. entity set is a pool of entities that share some common characteristics/behaviors, They are helpful to group multiple entities that will be treated similarly in certain parts of the simulation. entity list is a more malleable and active pool of entities where each entities can be utilized during the simulation, they used to store and manage entities that are subject to dynamic control decisions looking for resources, moving through specific processes etc.

To create an entity set or an entity list, you need to use the Advanced Transfer panel in the Model window. You can access this panel by clicking on the Advanced Transfer button in the toolbar, or by right-clicking on any module and selecting Advanced Transfer.
