Style and Substance is usually your "brand" and consist of a set of colors (also known as a color palette) to incorporate either as background color or even in the colors you wear; fonts for text overlays; your logo; and, your brand "voice", which dictates the tone of your messaging. For example, my company's brand voice is knowledgeable, experienced and cheerful with side of puns. We use "we/our/ours" pronouns. We use emojis when we can and our custom hashtag along with a location hashtag where appropriate.

For me, this is where all of the magic of your social media content comes to life. Let's consider the example of a dog grooming business. Their Kairos is the approaching heat of summer and their busiest season. Their Ethos is evident in the many before and after images they take while furry pets come in for their summer shave. Pathos becomes evident as the images of shaved and groomed pets look happier than they were before, which instills a sense of joy. Logic is deployed in the way of information regarding products to avoid or use at home and images of hair on the floor will drive pet owners to make an appointment to avoid having that mess in their own house. Custom hashtags are used to style their content and encourage UGC.
