In my experience, setting team networking goals is like planning a group camping trip. Without a clear destination (your objectives), the journey can be aimless. One thing I've found helpful is to not wing it! Hold a team brainstorming session where you can list your goals, challenges, and resources while also discussing how your existing network can help. In addition to a stakeholder analysis, resurrect any current process maps and past project responsibility assignment matrices/RACIs. This sources may illuminate any stakeholders that you have likely forgotten. Asking of the input from immediate stakeholders knowledge of your team may also lead to nodes of the network map you had not thought of.
