The AZA, ZAA, and WAZA job boards are a great place to search for any position at multiple zoos at once. Get started early by volunteering as a teen, apply to summer internships early because working at the zoo is a coveted position. Don't be afraid to talk to keepers when visiting zoos too and get their input. You can also find your local chapter of AAZK and go to their events, like Bowling for Rhinos or an auction which are typically open to the public.
