In my opinion, certifications are not mandatory as long as you are aware that IT and threats are constantly evolving. Instead, open yourself up to new technologies and use them wisely to protect your network.

From the experience that I have gained for over 6 years, you need to constantly learn and develop yourself around new technologies, and not only learn try to implement them into the work that you are doing. Try to work on homelabs or emulators.

Do not use products that are permanently anchored in your systems. Try to divide the network activities into certain hierarchies and prioritize them.
