Based on my limited experience in the field, In my opinion, you should understand what is the skills that is required to be in the management consulting and what all skills do you have? Generally, management consulting requires a good hold on doing primary and secondary research, competitor's analysis and benchmarking, marketing initiatives and so on. You should understand that whether these interests you or not or whether it just like you want to join other's as they are joining consulting as a fascinating role.
