How do you balance aesthetic appeal with eco-friendly considerations in the exterior design of a hybrid car?

Aesthetics can be achieved through innovative shapes and finishes that reflect light and add visual interest without compromising aerodynamic performance. For me it is funny to see all the artists trying to reinvent the wheel - from this perspective the whole design department looks to be made from politicians: are severed from what the majority of consumers desire from a car: Low cost, high reliability, accessible ownership costs, practical and functional. Everything over is a bonus, unfortunately most of the OEMs have started to delivery under the bear minimum of expectations of the market - and they are surprised by the low volume sales ........politicians all of them

All materials are cheap materials, the secret is to make the cheap ones look like premium ones, nobody will buy a vehicle because it has bamboo turn signals stalks and hemp seat covers - well potentially a very small number of people - environmental friendly as a concept is not in the minds of the great majority - only on the minds of a small minority that enjoys the smell of their own farts.

Now here is where the big words are being used like sustainability, aesthetics, eco-friendliness - assuming that we are discussing about a hybrid - does anyone care to say what is the CO2 footprint of that insignificant battery in rage - how about if for the great majority of consumers whom are looking for low cost, high reliability, accessible ownership costs, practical and functional ? It will not matter all those functions if overall the product is expensive, buggy or if it has high maintenance costs
