Set reasonable goals that are achievable in increments you can expand upon. Set clear deliverables that can clearly show progress and hold you accountable. If you assign more than one person to a task nobody is ultimately responsible Learn from failures and success and adjust when required or wash, rinse and repeat when it’s working! . Write down your goals and the plan to achieve, stats prove you are more likely to achieve the goal. The going number is 40pct more likely.

The support from your people leader and your team is key here. One thing I've found helpful to ensure your goals are meeting the SMART criteria is to have a peer or your manager check your goals against it. Having this extra set of eyes can help you ensure you're adhering to the SMART criteria.
