To define them, you can use brainstorming, surveys, interviews, workshops, or other methods that involve your stakeholders and capture their input and feedback.

3 Align your SWOT analysis with your vision, mission, and values

When you build a SWOT analysis , have a clear understanding on your 1.organization mission - which clarifies on the purpose of why the organization exists. 2. Organization vision- which clarifies about where the organization wants to reach. 3. Organization value system- which clarifies about what values are governing the organization. Once you have full clarity and understanding, then building the SWOT analysis will enable your thought process accordingly in describing your strengths, weaknesses inline with those. Also this will help to identify opportunities and threats which are in sync with that. Through this approach you can build the SWOT in complete alignment with organization vision, mission and values.
