A must do that it's a first step on going green, specially on countries where Customs does not require physical documents to be presented, is digitalizing customs processes to significantly cut down on paper use, speeding up clearance while reducing environmental impact. As per my experience, engaging in AEO programs can be a bit hard to accomplish, but will definitely streamline operations, showcasing a commitment to eco-friendly practices in every logistical step

Incorporating sustainable practices in warehousing, like energy-efficient lighting and solar power, not only reduces carbon footprint but also generates long-term cost savings. What I've experienced a great perception from customers was changing most forklifts to electrical instead of GLP, but also to share the reduction effect with the team, so they can also suggest and implement environment friendly solutions.
