The third step to address bias and stereotypes in learning content and delivery is to apply inclusive strategies. These actions promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in learning with the aim of respecting, valuing, and supporting the differences and similarities among learners. To ensure this, use diverse and relevant examples, stories, images, and language in your content; avoid stereotypes, generalizations, or assumptions; provide multiple formats, modes, and options for your content; use active, collaborative, and learner-centered methods in your delivery; encourage dialogue, feedback, and reflection in your delivery; provide clear, fair, and constructive criteria and feedback in your evaluation; and acknowledge and address any bias or stereotypes that may arise in your evaluation. By doing so you can create a positive and safe learning environment.
