One key component of message queues is using managed services, like a Kafka, to help filter and scale inputs from multiple sources. The ability to create managed topics ensures while every message enters a queue, only the ones users subscribe to reach the top of the queue. One can use a microservice element to build alerts and topics that then facilitates pushing the required messages into the user queue, a best practice than assigns criticality criteria, high, medium, or low to better filter through the information volume. The importance being, many of the services communicating may be passing standard information, such as hourly or by minute pulse checks, that don't need to reach the top of the queue.

Data consistency can be challenging. When one does the brown field to green field conversion from a legacy system, what would be a centralized messaging converts into distinct micro-services. The messaging from these services then requires adjusting formats and specifics. A common error can be different DB formats, changing versions, or non-standard error correction that allows different field types. One example, one system uses physical address a 3 fields for number, street, and zip code, while another just uses one address block. The inclusion of tools using AI/ML filters can help merge or separate these early errors to ensure the user obtains the required information.
