Stablish different levels of storage, like 15 days for day to day usage software or files. 15 to 90 days archive for files and folders which access are limited for some specific tasks. 90 to your company historical data for business requirements. 2. Utilize different software for different storage levels trying to keep all the software for long period storage been able to have more granularity on data search. 3. Stablish backup and recovery plan, with different levels of recovery points, think in use real time replica for critical data and process, incremental / differential fo middle storage period, and backup and metadafiles for long term storage.
