Si estás realizando operaciones de escritura en varias tablas dentro de una consulta que utiliza CTEs o subconsultas, considera agrupar estas operaciones en una transacción. Las transacciones pueden mejorar el rendimiento al minimizar el número de commits y optimizar el bloqueo de las tablas involucradas. No olvides usar 'explain' e indexar correctamente tus tablas.

If there are more than million of rows in a table then using CTEs might not be a good idea, since the select statement inside of cte does not using the indexes properly its is always recommended to use them when rows are less.
