Our attention spans are reducing day by day and the longer and more dense our presentation the more chances that people get distracted. To make sure all the key points are registered in peoples minds its always a good idea to have visuals in the storyline. It also helps reduce the bulk since a good visual can replace a lot of text. Another advantage to using media is that it can communicate emotions as well, which is very hard to do with just text. In the end we want our presentation to leave an impact and stay in the minds of our audience.

When I prepared the first draft of my pitch for M.I.N.I.O.N. at Simple AI, I had two fresh set of eyes look at it from the perspective of a non technical person. The reason for this was that not every investor is a technical whiz and while preparing these pitches most entrepreneurs use a lot of technical lingo which may get tedious for the investor to follow.
