I talk about my ADHD all the time. Being on medication for over four years now, I feel I have a good grasp on my own ADHD, to actually be able to help others. Many people that are Neurodistinc still feel that they can't "Speak up". Being this open with potential candidates, allows people to speak to more freely to them. I want them to share their superpower with me, so I can make sure the companies I work for, are the best company for them. Neurodiversity is so much more in a better place now but there is still work to do, but making a positive impact at the beginning is the key for others to open up.

I once encountered a candidate whose resume showcased strong technical skills but didn't find his involvement in community service. However, a quick online search revealed his active participation in local volunteering initiatives. During the interview, I brought up his volunteer work, and his eyes lit up. It turned out that these qualities were equally valuable for the role we were hiring for, even though they were not mentioned in the resume.
