Considering that today's random attacks are targeting Web Applications, and for apps holding sensitive data , cyber security best practices should be on the top of the table while developing at least covering TOP 10 OWASP for web attacks

Employee Recognition Software is a classification comprising many available web applications available on subscription or similar licensing options. Consider Cyber Security first and foremost since Web Applications are constantly under attack and in worst case, data can be lost/exposed/destroyed from anything that is useful. Companies could find themselves ￡3 million out of pocket per security breach Remember people will be sending plenty of messages and a lot of time may be used to get the most out of this genre of software. Recognizing people is part of understanding how work performance is improved so choose a package that makes this easy for people (eg managers/employees) to do and determine the impact of changes in the organization
