A PLM metric can be very useful tool to get the insights of your process and it’s productivity. It gives you a different perspective on your process time, accuracy or maybe any gap in your process can be found with metrics. It can also be used to track performance.

Upon deciding which of these is your requirement is, You need to decide KPIs. With right KPIs your metric will be more accurate. KPIs plays big role in any of the metrics.
