Personas are not assumptions, but hypotheses that you need to test and validate. To do so, you can use user testing, user feedback, and user analytics. User testing involves observing how real or potential users interact with your web application and asking them for feedback. User feedback can be collected from surveys, reviews, ratings, comments, and social media in order to look for trends and patterns that confirm or contradict your personas. Lastly, user analytics measures and tracks user behavior and performance with metrics such as visits, conversions, retention, satisfaction, and loyalty. This data can be segmented based on personas to compare how they differ or match in terms of their actions and outcomes.
