The Hidden Costs of Undercharging: Why Refusing To Raise Your Rates is Harming Your Business and Reputation

I had to yell at another client today.?

The reason was simple - like so,?so?many Business Coaches, Consultants and Small Business Owners, this client was?criminally?underpricing his?services.

I told the client the only way I'd agree to let our team provide "Done For You" LinkedIn Lead Generation services was if he immediately agreed to triple his rates.

Given the immense value he's providing, plus the insane list of big-name clients he's working with, it was like watching a five star chef cooking a custom dinner from scratch?and then charging like it was a McDonald's Happy Meal!

I think?why?this happens is simple - you don't know what you don't know (i.e. what other, similar coaches or consultants charge for a workshop, as an example)?you have mindset issues around money (feeling "guilty" if you charge too much), or you simply don't understand the value / ROI of the service you're providing.

For example, if you have a sick kid, you don't stop and ask the doctor?what the cost is,?right?

That's because the?value?of that service (healing your sick child) is priceless to you as a parent.

I've worked with and talked to hundreds of Business Coaches, Consultants and Small Business Owners over the years.

Almost ALL of them aren't charging what they're really?worth, and suffering as a result.

My business coach taught me long ago - price is only an issue in the absence of value.

So make sure you communicate your value clearly to your ideal prospects online!

And don't let a scarcity / fear-based mindset sabotage you charging what you're really worth.
