I think we need to use a language that is more than inclusive to avoid workplace conflicts. When the other person is vulnerable to ignorance about you, being empowered to know that they are not understanding your choice of words in your sense, then we need to rethink the choice of words that will help us develop a shared understanding and at the same time not let us go off our cultural stance. I say this will help when the workplace conflict arises because of the cross-cultural communication gap. This is very important that we care for ourselves and let people know that their word usage is affecting us rather than allowing it to destroy us.
