Well, one important thing is to understand that if you are not in a Senior, Specialist or some professional high level position and want to connect with them, the battle for connecting with them may be tough. So give a preference for professionals from midlevel to lower positions to connect and build your network

Another good idea is to follow people who share insights from areas completely different from the one in which you have experience. For example, keep up with the latest in game development when you work in fintech. This helps to find non-standard solutions when working on familiar tasks.

A profile having endorsements from a credible person is also considered to be strong profile. Follow LinkedIn guidelines for presenting a better profile to keep your profile precessional and complete.
