With data being generated at a significant pace, it becomes imperative to use develop the skills which are required to read the data, analyze the data, draw insights from data and narrate a compelling story which drive actions. Additional aspects to develop are: 1. Skills to examining the accuracy and completeness of data and understanding the risk associated with analyzing incorrect / incomplete data 2. Skills to understand the interlinkages between data sets-internal v/s external, financial v/s non-financial, multiple sets of operational data to draw inferences 3. Skills to draw actional insights from data and presentation it into a story which draws attention and actions Risk management driven by data analysis increases efficiency
