Business Model Canvas is a framework that helps you design, test, and communicate your business model. It consists of nine building blocks that cover the key aspects of your value creation and delivery, such as customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure. By using Business Model Canvas for innovation, you can map out your current business model and identify gaps and weaknesses. Additionally, it allows you to explore new or improved ways of creating and capturing value by asking yourself questions such as: which customer segments are you serving or could serve with your innovation; what value propositions are you offering or could offer to each segment with your innovation; how do you reach or could reach your customers with your innovation; how do you interact or could interact with your customers with your innovation; how do you generate or could generate revenue from your innovation; what resources do you need or could use for your innovation; what activities do you perform or could perform for your innovation; who are your partners or could be your partners for your innovation; and what are your costs or could be your costs for your innovation?
