How can you use body language to convey confidence and authority when leading a team?

Communication consists of 7% words, 38% tone of your voice & 55% on body language. Never underestimate the power of non-verbal cues : tonality & body language. To convey confidence and authority, the words we use must be in synch with our tonality & body language. If not in synch, whatever messages we want to communicate will not have the impact, hence more difficult to influence. Pace our communication ; speak slower when making important points; lower your pitch & end your sentence with downward inflection to give more credibility and authority. Keep your body language open; have eyes contact when speaking ; focus and not multi-task ; nod to acknowledge. Using empowering body language will increase your own confidence. Go for it !
